With respect to Labour Arbitration:
We provide solid representation at traditional arbitration hearings. Our Advocates have been very successful not only in normal discipline/discharge grievances, but in cutting edge areas such as ‘duty to accommodate’. Often, Local Unions are faced with the dual problem of tough grievances and limited resources. We have an excellent history of keeping hearings under control as well as finding resolutions to problems short of hearings which saves time and expense to the Union. We maintain that grievance arbitration should be both expeditious and within the Local Union’s budget. Further, and as important, we are able to provide advice on grievance handling, as well as effective ways to use all of the language of the Collective Agreement to solve problems before they get to arbitration.
